Do I have a backup of my vps?

All of our VPS services have 1 free backup and 1 free snapshot of the main/boot drive.

You have access to the backup and restore function from the user portal of your account.

You have to set it up after you log in. This has to be set up for each service/VPS you have ordered from us.

Please note that backup is not available for the additional drives that you ordered, if it is not explicitly specified on that product or if you did not acquire backup a service for that additional drive.

All additional storage drives/packs are on drives that are in RAID ( Redundant Array of Independent Disks ), so that the pool/storage has mechanical fault protection.

Measures are set that if 1 drive fails, we get notified and schedule a replacement Immediately, so you as our client does not lose any data.

During this time, your service will function without interruption, but you might experience light performance degradation until the RAID Array is rebuilt.

If you have sensitive data, on the additional drive, we recommend that you get a backup plan from us for that service/additional drive, or do an offsite backup of your own.
