Does my VPS/service have DDOS protection?

Yes, we provide a basic DDOS protection on all our services.

Please note that this does not mean you can leave open ports or use week passwords on SSH or login pages.

Best practice is that you should protect your logins with complex passwords, and try to deactivate common usernames as: root, admin, user.

Also set up firewall on your service that allows inbound traffic only on the ports you use.

If you can filter outbound connections, that is a plus.
